First planted in 2006, Lichtenwalter Vineyard is dry farmed on sedimentary soils dominated by the Willakenzie series at elevations ranging from 350 to 500 feet. We focus on Pinot Noir and grow 5 different clones (Pommard, Wadenswil, Dijon 114, 115 and 777). The vineyard is farmed using sustainable practices, is LIVE Certified and Salmon Safe. We sell our annual production to a number of talented winemakers. With the 2018 vintage we began producing our own Lichtenwalter Vineyard Estate series of wines to be released in the near future.
